Last night at SHEA with B-Day girl Sammy

I've never been closer in my entire life to the field at Shea. I've been in sky box seats, bleachers, upper deck and pretty much every level of the stadium except the plush leather goodness behind home plate! My good friend Samantha invited me out to the Mets vs Padres game last night and I was in heaven. It was to celebrate her bday and yes, she's kind of a big deal! We are so close that there was an incident where a foul ball hit the ground and a spec of dirt fell on Sammy's lap.

Outside of that I met great people. Including Mr. Met! All of Sammy's friends were oober kind and Sammy's uncle is certainly a cool dude. The food was great. I had a Mama's of Corona sandwich. It was like Whoa. Ended up at The Pine located inside the Holiday Inn. According to my friends Bobby Valentine use to have his restaurant there in the same location.
